To be clear upfront, I ordered the ROCKBROS Winter Cycling Pants NOT for cycling/jogging but instead to try as an alternative to normal sweatpants for winter basically as loungewear not excercise gear. What attracted me was the idea I could use these in the winter months to wear around the house but not have to change or add layers to go outside (especially when windy) to take the dogs for walks or shovel some snow from the front walk or even be out on the tractor pushing snow off the driveway for 30 minutes or an hour without needing to change pants when going out and then again when back inside. For my intended "off-label" use, I do like these pants as an improved winter option! Next very important thing to note is the sizes offered on Amazon appear to be using the Asian (not US) sizing. Before ordering, I also went to the ROCKBROSUSA web site to look up additional (better) product sizing information as the Amazon description only has a recommendations chart based on height and weight in cm and kg units (which we are not used to dealing with here in the US) so a little conversion math is needed. So with this information I ordered the 2XL size where I would normally order a L size for normal sweatpants. The 2XL turned out to be the correct size for my intended use, they are not "tight-fitting" like cycling pants, and that is what I wanted! The 2XL waist and length are sized correctly for me (normally I select a 36 to 38 waist and am 6 feet tall). The outer layer shell does nicely at preventing the wind from getting through, and the soft inside fleece layer feels quite similar to normal sweatpants. After wearing around the house inside, I can see where the outer layer that does do a good job blocking the wind when outside, may not be breathable enough if I was actually doing lots of exercise in these pants, but for my use they worked out very well.
